No Surprise that GM had to sink like the Titanic.. Just the pain and hard work of 300 Million Taxpayers going down the drain.. Whose responsible for that?

I have a Packard. I can still get parts.Even Packard made thousands of cars a year. Some parts are common among many brands of cars. My car has Timken bearings , a Dana rear axle, Bendix brakes, a Delco ignition and a Motorola radio. You would be suprized at how much is reproduced, even for a low volume car. , You could build a Jeep, a ModelT or A ford, an MGB and some Chevrolets --all new from scratch!
Buying an orphan car, as a used car , would be a real bargain.
I still see lots of Oldsmobiles and Plymouths on the road. The worst thing that would happen is that you might have to buy a parts car.

Oh, the public has been living under a misconception also. They've BEEN bankrupt for DECADES. Not will they be.

These companies haven't made a profit in years. Don't you understand when they post a news release saying "we made 1 million bucks today", that that doesn't pay the TENS of BILLIONS they owe. I don't even know how the hell they've been able to stay in business this long with that much debt. They should have been gone long ago, before these BS bailouts ever occured.

We don't need them, and will have safer roads when they're gone and been replaced with proper European cars.

It'll mean you'll finally be forced into driving a proper car, one from BMW, VW, eh.. Merc, or Audi - who gave their workers $6,000 bonuses.

Bring on the diesels and alcohol to drive them on.
