Stone Park IL used to bag motorists merging down the on-ramp to I-55, and they usually draw their guns in the process.
Plymouth WI has now joined Waldo in bagging traffic leaving Road America races. They blithely nail you from 20 carlengths in the opposite direction with no way to spatially ascertain if you have passed the sign that chops the speed limit 20 mph into their burg.
Don’t enter the BlueRidge Parkway tollroad in NC unless you’ve got half a day to run at 35 mph cuz there’s no exits in two hundred miles.
Gilberts IL is a ticket writing town there isn’t even a police station that you can call but they have patrol cars and officers setting up speed traps all over town,do not speed in Gilberts their only job is giving out speeding tickets.Sleepy Hollow it’s neighbor down the road is just as bad.
Ohio is real bad. The state patrol will get out of the cars and and stand in the road and point at you to pull over. Also in Ohio they will give cars upto 10 over before they pull you over, as with 18-wheelers they will pull you over for doing 58. As well as they are radaring you even while they are driving on one side of the fwy and you are driving on the other. I lived in GA for 13 years and only got 2 tickets, I’ve been in OH for less than 2 yrs and have got 4 tickets.

Flowery Branch, Ga….Sleepy town…One big speed trap.
Besides Albuquerque, New Mexico has a ‘speed trap triangle’ running from route 599 northern Santa Fe, up Highway 285/84 through several pueblos like Pojoaque where the tribal cops run constant speed traps, and on Highway 502 to Los Alamos, also heavily patrolled by BIA or tribal cops.
Worst speed trap in Ohio is located in Marietta, Ohio. Between Exits 1 and 25.This is on interstate 1-77
Second, Next is located in Linndale off interstate 1-71 a short section covering appx. 2/10 tenths of a mile. This supports the entire Village of Linndale.
Estelline, Tx. The officer had his sirens going even before I came over the hill to see him. (2)When he pulled me over his patrol car had no visible identification markings(3)He WAS NOT in proper uniform. He DID NOT have a name badge on nor did he identify himself. I had to call 9-1-1 in order to find out if he was legit. Than he got mad because I did that and threw the ticket at me.(3) He wrote the mph I supposedly went over, then scribbled it out, and wrote exactly the mph’s that would make the ticket, according to Estellines court clerk,”..unable to be satisfied by a drivers course.” I repeatedly tried to contact(by mail & phone) the Judge C.Mundragon or any of her staff for over 2 months to try get a “Continuance”(extension of the trail date)!!! I’m filing a complaint with Texas DPS.

Hwy 54 Fayetteville, GA speed limit is 55 leaving Jonesboro, GA as soon as you are 3 blocks from town square speed limits drops to 35 they are there waiting w/radar guns there is no way to slow down in time so every one knows how they are, so you don’t speed in Fayette County.
Elberta AL, most roads. All heavy patrolled by 4 agencies; state police, Gulf Shores police, Baldwin County Sheriff and Elberta police, with speed traps. Mainly Roads 95 south & route 20 E & W. They love the radar. Have a good detector.
The entire United States. And for those wishing not to be hasseled outside the US, avoid Canada, Costa Rica, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain and all French Autoroutes.
Black unmarked cop car sitting at bottom of the hill(a typical CO Springs speed trap tactic) on Rockrimmon Blvd. near the south intersection of Delmoinco. Cop actually blocks one of the two lanes in order to catch people coming down that hill. I wonder what is worse? Speeding or a car stopped without lights flashing within 100 feet of heavily used right turn lane on that road. He cares about nothing escept for his Saturday morning quota. Just for the record I know the quota’s come from one of the traffic supervisors.
Anywhere on Pena Blvd going to or from DIA is where you will find speed traps.

Fort Worth TX- Between Kimzey St and Montgomery St running east and west on one way road. Mototcycle officers running radar parked on Kimzey. Just as the autos come off the Rosedale bridge the speed limit drastically drops to 30 MPH and dozens of people are stopped daily.
The whole town and surrounding area of Barrington, IL. Sneaky, predatory police-state mentality that never ends.
The stretch of the Jupiter Corredor between Plainfield Ave, and West River Road,has a posted speed of 45MPH. About 3 times per week, motorcycle officers from the sherrif’s Department set up a speed trap, and rake in the tickets. This is a limited entry road, with little foot traffic.
The current worst speed trap is Plainfield Road in Downers Grove, just west of Lemont Rd. The speed limit east of Lemont Rd. is 40mph, but suddenly changes to 30mph.west of Lemont Road – for absolutely no good reason. And there is a police car there most days grabbing people.
