I have no issue with 25mph school zones or other appropriate PSL. I will not intentionally exceed a school psl. If govt would post appropriate PSL there would be fewer speeders. (Actually they are places where a railroad once ran -- the tracks were removed long ago, but the signs are still up in order to ticket truck and bus drivers for not stopping where the tracks used to be.) USDOT could easily kill such schemes by outlawing them in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices. It wouldn't even take an act of Congress. Let's lobby them.
