Insofar as they were the pet project of our soon-to-be-ex govenor, the bill is being times to land on her desk for signature right after her Republican replacemnet takes over. Citizens here are outraged at the way the government has been using these things as nothing more than a revenue center. Unfortunatley, the law will not prevent the cites from using them on their surface streets. Nevertheless, it is a step in the right direction.
