Wouldn't you prefer to try and have your voice heard?

Your comment seems to have much opinion with little facts to back up your claim.

Sounds like another NMA article. Let the speeders go as fast as they want in town and in school zones. Let the drunks alone and be happy.

Syncronize the lights? You think syncronizing the lights is all about spending a couple of more dollars? Syncronizing lights has already been done in most areas where it can be easily done. You can not always syncronize lights in two or 4 directions. Idiots think they just need to throw money at it though.

Yellow light timing is already set with minimums by most all states. NMA just wants to blame the yellow lights for people blowing through red lights seconds after they turn red.

I am sure most of you know this but if there are some that do not I would like to advise to NEVER go to a car wash after you have WAXED your car UNLESS you specifically tell them NO SOAP! In which case they will probably need to do a "hand wash" which is more expensive.
I was young and dumb when I found this out the hard way.

Reasonable tips, except for the tire tip. While it may technically be legal to go with a lower-than-stock speed rating on tires, because of liability, you'll be hard pressed to find a tire shop who will do this. If a tire fails that was a lower rated tire, the installer faces serious damage claims.
Another aspect of tires is they are the single biggest difference in handling (and safety) you can make with your car. Stick with your speed rating, but look at less expensive brands to save money. Just make sure their tires carry similar treadware and load ratings, as well.

Yeah, you can save some money washing your car yourself, but there are parts of the country where you have weigh that against the water used. Most drive through car washes reclaim their water so they will use maybe 15 gallons versus the 50-120 gallons you will use with the garden hose in your driveway. And then there’s that detergent that runs down your driveway and into the ocean, a problem also eliminated by going to the car wash.

Sorry that last comment should have been for Bill. Chicago is in Illinois the same state as Peoria, Illinois unless there is another Chicago in another state they are referring to.

George, "Trained officers review every picture to verify vehicle information and ensure the vehicle is in violation. Tickets are issued only in cases where it is clear the vehicle ran the light."

It is obvious the the trained officer made a mistake.
